This meeting
gives us the
opportunity
to get to
know each
other and
allows me
to see the
space we will
be working
on. There
is a fee of
$95. for this
and one follow
up visit.
This fee is
deducted from
the contract
amount
During this
meeting, 1 to
1-1/2 hours,
I will take
some dimensions
and photos enabling
me to develop
some preliminary
ideas and estimates
of what the
project will
entail. I will
return in approximately
one week to
show you my
preliminary
sketches along
with estimated
construction
costs and design
fees.
The
Program
After we have
a signed agreement
drawings will
be produced
showing what
the space will
look like. Floor
plans, elevations,
3-D sketches
and study models
will be used.
Construction
documents
will be developed
from these
preliminary
drawings for
various contractors
to submit
bids. Actual
material samples
will be furnished
for almost
everything
we'll be using
on the job,
molding, trim,
cabinets,
counter top
material,
flooring,
paint colors,
fabric samples,
hardware finishes,
etc. This
will enable
you to visualize
your new space
and make decisions
accordingly.
The Finished
Project
I will be involved
throughout the
project insuring
our ideas are
executed as
planned. I will
specify and
can furnish
all materials
required to
complete our
project and
make sure these
materials are
on the job site
when needed.
Most remodeling
and renovation
have surprises
along the way,
from plumbing
and electrical
to walls in
the wrong location.
I am available
to meet with
you and the
contractor to
develop the
best solution
to complete
our task. I
do everything
in my power
to insure the
project satisfies
your expectations,
meets our schedule
and stays within
budget.
